So, when did Tory Lanez give a fuck about Demi Lovato?
People have been coming for Demi Lovato after she tweeted memes related to 21 Savage’s ICE arrest. Specifically, the singer stated that the detainment memes were her “favorite part of the Super Bowl.” But, leave it to Tory Lanez to chime in on the slander. During his Instagram Live stream on Tuesday evening, he came to her defense.
“I’m not feeling this whole come for Demi Lovato thing, b,” Lanez said on IG Live. “I’m not feeling it! niggas really don’t watch the Super Bowl, my nigga! And I’m not gon lie—that shit’s wild entertaining, nigga! I’m not for this whole come for Demi Lovato thing!
Since Demi Lovato’s tweet, she has deleted her Twitter account altogether. 21 Savage’s management even responded to the tweets stating,
“Damn. We was def Demi Lovato fans. When she was going through her shit, I remember being on the tour bus and Savage said I hope she make it through that shit. People r weird bro.”
But, aside from Lovato’s insensitive comments, Savage has been receiving major support from the hip hop community. His lawyers have since released a full statement with updates for fans like us who are hoping for the best.
