Now, many question why Disney Channel remained so quiet about Jordan Pruitt’s claims. Many fans wonder why that her manager, Keith Thomas, abused her with no response from Disney.
On Tuesday afternoon, Pruitt broke her silence and filed a lawsuit against Thomas and her record label, Hollywood Records. She filed on the claims of “sexual battery of a minor.” It’s the latest in a growing number of sexual assault cases in the entertainment industry.
Is Disney Channel Losing Its Young Audience?
Pruitt signed with Thomas as a teenager and was a contestant on The Voice in 2005. He claims that he “abused my body and made me feel uncomfortable in public.” Her lawsuit says that Thomas groped her and groped her son. She’s seeking $500,000 in damages from Thomas and Hollywood Records.
