What The F**k Happened To Hip Hop?

It’s no doubt that the state of Hip-Hop is calling for a massive change. During a recent video, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of the legendary run DMC is calling for that change.

Released by Double Down News, McDaniels takes an approach on how this very message has been lessened over the years. When speaking of the recent murder of XXXTentacion and other prolific rappers in hip-hop, DMC stated that we are conditioned to death and it causes us to become numb to the long-lasting effects.

…Hip Hop mourns for two-three weeks, and then we go back doing the same bulls*** – same ideas, concepts, and images, like having a gun is cool – not changing the conditions that killed Pac.

And he didn’t stop there. ultimately he believes that a millennial can actually change the landscape of Hip-Hop music.
