The greatest QB of all time has technically fulfilled the prophecy he once set years ago. In 2019, NBC Sports reported that he made this statement:
“I think I have always said 45 just because that’s a good goal to set because that is one that has been pretty hard to get to for most guys. I think you have to have goals — you have daily goals, you have yearly goals and you have long-term goals,” Brady said. “For me, it’s really just the love of football. I’m not sure if or when I will ever not love it. That’s the thing.
“I don’t know, it’s just some people are maybe great guitarists, there are great chefs, there are great lawyers, there are great artists, actors, you name it. I think if you really love it, why should you stop? You just love it. I don’t know how to explain it other than I love doing it and that is enough for me.”
Brady’s not only proven to continue playing until 45. However, there’s nobody on the planet going to replicate the amount of success he’s accomplished. In 2022, Tom Brady enters his 24th career season and looks sharper and more athletic than he’s ever had. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gathering big-time athletes around the league quietly and are looking to make a push for a championship this year.

What is Tom Brady Still Chasing?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gathering big-time athletes around the league quietly and are looking to make a push for a championship this year. As a competitor, Brady will never stop being relentless. He’s proven that off the simple fact nobody has played as long as he has and for as good as he has. It seems he doesn’t get content with sitting on his accolades and accomplishments. Quite often he reminds himself of who got drafted in front of him and in which order.
“What I believe I said was, ‘You’ll never regret picking me,’” said Brady. “I think I was just excited to be a part of the Patriots. I didn’t know much about the franchise, growing up in California, being a 49ers fan, being in the NFC, being in the other part of the country. The Patriots didn’t have a great team, so it’s not like they were on TV very often.”
