    YNW Melly Back Behind Bars: Rapper Transferred to Broward County Jail

    Rapper YNW Melly has been moved back to the Broward County Jail from the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach, Florida. The transfer is because he now has mounting new legal challenges, which include six new charges pertaining to witness tampering and conspiracy.

    Improved detention conditions have accompanied the return of Melly to Broward County Jail. Whereas he had been detained in solitary confinement at Paul Rein Detention Facility, he is currently being detained at Broward County Jail with fewer restrictions. Moreover, Melly has been allowed limited phone privileges, quite a departure from his earlier isolation.

    The rapper’s transfer comes at a time when he is bound to face more and more legal troubles. In detail, he has recently been hit with six new charges, which elevate the severity of his case. These charges range from witness tampering to conspiracy in relation to the trial concerning his double homicide case. Melly is charged with murdering two of his friends: YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser—a case that has engaged the public eye in great proportion and under much-needed scrutiny.
