San Francisco rapper and hip-hop legend Zaytoven always proudly represents his hometown. In his latest collaboration with EMPIRE, the native SF artist is paying homage to the city’s roots with his upcoming project titled Zaytoven Presents: Fo15. This project, conceptualized by EMPIRE CEO Ghazi and assisted by A&R Chuck Kelley, also known as Frisco Chuck, is named after San Francisco’s 415 area code. It will showcase some of the hottest names from the SF street scene, delivering their finest bars over Zaytoven’s production.
You can expect to hear features from rising San Francisco trap stars such as ZayBang, Lil Pete, Lil Bean, KxNG Llama, Prezi, and Lil Yee to name a few. Within 10 tracks, Zaytoven shows the world how much talent his hometown possesses shining a new light on a different part of California.
When asked about the reason for releasing this project, Ghazi explained, “The goal of this project is to celebrate the diverse talent pool in San Francisco. Whether you’re an artist, publicist, photographer, graphic designer, mixer, or producer, we all hail from The City. I want aspiring creatives and professionals to look at this project and think, ‘If they can do it, so can I.'” This partnership between EMPIRE and Zaytoven is showing the younger generation of creatives the proper way to give back to your city when you make it.
To kick off this announcement Zaytoven and EMPIRE have officially released the first visual from Fo15 titled “All My Guys,”. You can expect to see and hear San Fran rappers ZayBang and Lil Yee on this release that is produced by none other than the hit maker himself Zaytoven.
“All My Guys” is a fast-paced and catchy track that combines bell synths with booming 808s. ZayBang and Lil Yee showcase their unwavering loyalty to their close friends over Zay’s own beat, previously used for Gucci Mane’s “Big Cat LaFlare.” The video, directed by Kiko, provides a comprehensive view of San Francisco, featuring famous landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and lesser-known areas that are off the typical tourist path.
With a new major project on the way, a hot new visual, and the Golden Gate city behind him, Zaytoven continues to break barriers in the music business.
