The 2021 BET Awards had loads of jaw-dropping performances and star-power coming from every which direction. Though, perhaps the best part of the awards show happened when the queens of tv and music showed out. In particular, Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Zendaya made a show-stopping appearance at the 2021 BET Awards. Like any die-hard fan of Queen Bey would do, Zendaya paid tribute to the artist by wearing her iconic 2003 BET Awards Versace dress. Clearly, Zendaya has mad respect for the Queen Bey.
The “Spider-Man” Actress Pays Her Respects To Beyonce
In similar Godfather-fashion, Zendaya paid her respects to Queen Bey at the BET Awards this past Sunday. While there were tons of red carpet looks to admire, Zendaya’s gown stole the show. Moreover, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star has already established herself as a young fashion icon in the entertainment industry. Not only does she slay the red carpet with fashion-forward looks, but she’s a pro at paying tributes to GOATS.
This past weekend, Zendaya wore a purple Versace dress similar to the number Beyonce wore to the 2003 BET Awards. Funny how things come around full circle sometimes. Talk about having respect for music icons.

It goes without saying that Zendaya slays in just about every ensemble she wears. The Europia actress even killed the red carpet in an iconic gown once worn by the great Beyonce. If that’s not respect, then what is? Though, cat walking the red carpet in a Versace dress worn by Queen Bey wasn’t enough for Zendaya.
The actress also took to Instagram to post a photo of herself in the gown. Additionally, she posted the photo of Beyonce that inspired the look. Both of the women look beautiful in the Versace gown. While tons of raving fans praised Zendaya over her look, her stylist Law Roach even loved the look. “Paying homage to the Queen Beyonce wearing @versaceSS2003 . . . get you a stylist with a ARCHIVE!!!” he commented on Zendaya’s page. Nothing but respect from both Zendaya and Law Roach for the one and only Queen Bey.
