The topic surfaced when Dax Shepard, the co-host, shared his morning routine, which often involves his daughters conversing with him while he’s in the bathroom.

Shepard, father to Delta, 9, and Lincoln, 10, whom he shares with Kristen Bell, described how his daughters would casually chat with him during his “poopy time.” He expressed his amazement at their indifference to the situation. Shepard then asked Cooper if his daughter, Lea, exhibited a similar disregard. Cooper, who shares 6½-year-old Lea with ex-Irina Shayk, confirmed that they often converse while he’s on the toilet and she’s in the bathtub.

Cooper gave listeners a glimpse into his New York City living space, which he described as an open floor plan with a bathtub, toilet, and bed in the same room. He humorously added,

“It’s 24/7, dude! There are no doors. … The stairs go up, and it’s all one floor.”

Cooper, a well-known figure in Hollywood, often makes public appearances. Shepard posed an intriguing question: “Are your genes making you not care? Or is it just the nurture of it all?” Cooper responded by sharing that his comfort with nudity wasn’t something he grew up with. He mentioned that he had never seen his father on the toilet until his father fell ill. His father, Charles, passed away from cancer.
