Most people who meet the Duchess of Sussex praise her for her warm and welcoming personality. But it seems that Pitch Perfect actress Rebel Wilson was not one of them. Rebel’s recent appearance on Watch, What Happens Live revealed that her first impression of Meghan wasn’t all that positive.
In a show clip, Rebel explained that she met the royal couple in Santa Barbara, California, with her mother, Sue Bownds. During the interview, she said she “wasn’t impressed” when they met and even claimed that she “found Prince Harry to be very ‘lovely’ but not as warm.”
Fans had to roughly remind her on Twitter about her previous comments about Meghan Markle.
It was only a year ago since Rebel stated some shady things about the role couple. When Rebel presented an award at the BAFTA’s she said, “Our next package is for Outstanding British Film. From drama to horror to fantasy. Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah had it all.”
Many fans also call out Rebel for being so out of touch with the real world. She’s not only a celebrity but also a new mum.
